Yoshio moderates his creativity with the realities of budgets and timelines.  His bi-lingual skills became a critical component in a recent project for a long-standing BGA client, a Tokyo-based leading producer of sophisticated test equipment for the semiconductor industry, and a premier manufacturer of measuring instruments for the electronics industry.

In his role as liaison, Yoshio facilitated communications between our client’s Japan-based engineers and the U.S. Construction team by clearly delineating project specifications. His keen language and listening skills enabled people of different languages, communication styles and cultures to work together in harmony. His role was crucial in seeing the project through to its successful completion. Yoshio’s participation brought to the fore his special gift for diplomacy.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach are hallmarks of Yoshio’s work. Among his many duties with BGA are finish selection, contract documents, and construction administration services such as the review of shop drawings. His recent projects include office interiors, the conversion of an office building into a multi-family residential property, designs for New York social service and education agencies, and preparation of documents for the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission.
